Invitation Assembler

Duties
~Production (70%)
You'll be helping brides who aren't crafty or DIY savvy! Assembly includes but is not limited to: mounting invitations onto glitter or colored paper mats, attaching invitations into pockets or petal folds, folding and attaching belly bands around invitations, placing custom medallions to top of invitation and belly band, and attaching liners into envelopes!
You'll get to assemble various wedding papers including but not limited to: wedding invitations, programs, menus, place cards, etc! You'll play an important role in making sure each client's special day is perfect!
You will be responsible for making sure that the appropriate amount of invitations and supplies have been completed before shipping the final product! Counting occurs before, during, and after assembly (if necessary).
You will also get to check printed papers (invitations, inserts, medallions, etc.) for any spots or discolorations to ensure that clients are getting only the highest quality final products!
~Organization/Inventory (20%)
Working at the office is like Christmas everyday! We are always getting packages delivered, so sometimes you will be asked to open the shipments and organize the paper and supplies in appropriate places.
You'll want to keep a tidy workspace, so you'll need to keep up with putting supplies away after assembly has been completed and at the end of your shift!
Some days, you may be asked to count envelopes, paper, pockets, and any other supplies we have in stock! You also might have to allocate these supplies to certain orders and organize them in the supply room.
~Other Administrative Tasks (10%)
We have several dry erase boards that are essential to keeping up with orders! You may be asked to update quantities, colors, or other information as necessary!
Other office tasks may also include filing, printing, or taking photos for the office instagram page!
Relationships
Employees in the Assembly/Office Assistant position will work closely with others in that department. Many times, 2-3 employees will be working to complete a single order.
Assemblers/Office Assistants will be expected to assist the business owners, Carley and Barb, in any office tasks necessary.
They may also work with other office employees, such as the office manager or designer in various forms to complete orders and keep up with required tasks.
All employees are subject to interaction with Janie, the office dog, including but not limited to belly rubs, throwing the ball, and giving her treats.
A typical day at work...
Imagine a day filled with glitter, shine, and weddings galore! On any given day, you could be working on a range of 1-10 wedding invitation orders! There's never a dull moment, and available invitations, colors, and styles are always changing! You could spend part of the day mounting invitations onto a gold glitter mat, and later move on to wrapping silver glitter belly bands around a metallic laser cut pocket. Each order is unique as it has been custom designed for every couple. You might finish the day by filing away miscellaneous papers and tidying up your workspace. If you like variety in your day, this may just be the perfect job for you!

Duties
~Design (80%)
You'll be responsible for designing, editing invitations for clients as orders come in. Designs are done off of our templates, but custom designs are common.
Incorporate changes requested by the clients.
Prepare invitations for final proofing/printing by checking all pieces for specification requirements (size, color, etc.) by CZ Invitations, and ensure all updates have been made per clients request.
You will also have the opportunity to design items for Pinterest, marketing campaigns, Instagram and other platforms when requested/time allows.
You will work one-on-one with clients, You will send proofs to clients via email and occasionally on etsy, explaining any changes that have been made and asking appropriate questions to complete their design needs.
Have knowledge of invitation design/etiquette in order to suggest helpful changes and recommendations to clients.
~Social Media (20%)
You will run the CZ Invitations Instagram account, posting daily stories and creating posts/plans for posts while following a theme.
You will take pictures of invitations, flat lays, seasonal pictures, etc. to be posted to social media.
You will utilize Tailwind to schedule Pinterest posts, following our guidelines of what to post when.
Follow CZ Invitations Pinterest statistics to improve on/change and increase impressions/clicks to our website and Etsy.

All computers are Apple products. Specifically you will be working on a MacBook Pro or an iMac.
Relationships
Works directly with Carley to create proofs and designs.
Work with Office Manager to ensure any changes get made to listings and estimates as clients change/add on to their orders.
